Period ironwork balconies in existance today, that have been well maintained, will have stood the test of time remarkably well and will probably outlast many modern structures. Unfortunately, a vast majority have suffered long periods of neglect which, in the case of balconies and canopies especially, mean the ingress of water. This will have rotted structural timberwork and corroded areas of ironwork - especially sections that cannot be accessed.

After carrying out repairs to balconies for many years, we decided to offer a complete restoration service.

This normally entails removing the complete structure, renewing all the timber and repairing and/or replacing missing sections and returning ironwork to its original splendour. We then finish the project with a high quality aspecialist cleaning and paint finish system before reffitting.

Ironwork such as rusted railings and gates which no longer operate, can be removed and transported to our workshop, sympathetically restored and refitted.
